Program Description and objectives
The Master is designed to develop key competencies for professionals in universities and in halls of residence, who deal with all extra-academic matters (Student Affairs) that concern university students and their soft skills’ development.
The Master will combine interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary actions providing a professional training model in which experts will work in teams with different profiles: psychological, pedagogical, organizational and legal.
The Master is promoted in collaboration with EucA (European University College Association) and NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education).

Admission Requirements
Bachelor Degree, Master Degree or Degree before DM 509/1999 (old system) or another University Degree obtained abroad officially recognized.

Expert in Student Affairs.

Beneficiaries
Young graduates, Directors of University Halls of Residence, Tutors in Colleges and Halls of Residence, Coaches, Career Guidance and Orientation Professionals, Faculty involved in student soft skills development, teaching and learning centers, Psychologists, Pedagogists, Sociologists, Teachers.

Qualification obtained
First level University Master degree in Training of experts in Student Affairs/Campus Life.
The qualification will be obtained by attending at least 80% of the total lessons and by succeeding in the intermediate and final exams. The Master accredits a total of 60 ECTS.

Deadline: February 28, 2026

The management reserves the right to extend the deadline for enrollment and to postpone the start of the master, respecting the deadline for its conclusion. Only failure to activate the Master gives the right to be refunded of the amount paid.

Students in possession of a qualification obtained abroad will be able to send the enrollment application only after completing the form and receiving confirmation of the suitability of the qualification from the Welcome Office.

Inside the form, in the "Course chosen at LUMSA" section, they must select the following course: M1 Training of the expert in Student Affairs / Campus Life.

On-line registration procedure
Registration of personal data

In order to access the LUMSA students services it is mandatory to first register your personal data at the link: Mi@Lumsa (https://servizi.lumsa.it) → Registration.
At the end of the registration, you will receive a login and password to access your personal profile.

Before starting the registration process, you must have:

  1. Passport photo for documents, in digital format, uploaded directly online, max 5 MB, 35x40 mm, showing the face against a light background. Panoramic photos, photos taken from a distance, photos from behind, or photos where the face is not fully visible are not permitted. Do not use photos featuring other people.
  2. Scan of a valid identification document, duly signed;
  3. Scan of the tax code, duly signed;
  4. For citizens of European Union countries: copy of the European identity card and/or passport.
  5. For Non-European citizens must attach a copy of their residence permit or a copy of their appointment at the Police Headquarters to apply for a residence permit; a copy of their passport and visa.

NB: Scanned documents must be submitted in .pdf format.
Other formats or photographed documents are not accepted.

Enrollment

  • Log in to Mi@Lumsa with the username and password obtained after completing the online registration process.
  • In the top-right menu, click on Registered Area -> Enrollment -> Enrollment for Open Courses and enter all the information and documents required by the procedure.

At the end of this procedure, after confirming all the data entered, the computer system processes the following documents:

  1. Fee payment slip to be paid upon registration;
  2. Registration application.

To proceed with enrollment, the student must:

  1. Pay the registration fee directly online via PagoPA or by printing the payment slip automatically generated by the online registration process;
  2. Print the enrollment application, verify the information provided, and sign it in its entirety;
  3. Scan the enrollment application, the payment receipt, and any required attachments.

NB: Scanned documents must be submitted in .pdf format.
Other formats or photographed documents are not accepted.

  1. Click Confirm or continue.
  2. Log in to Mi@Lumsa, click on Registered Area -> Career Attachments in the top-right menu, and upload the scanned documents listed above.

Scholarship recipients and recipients of payments made by third parties should contact the office at iscrizionimaster@lumsa.it for information on how to register.

Internship and project work: 

A 250 hours stage is envisioned. It can be carried out and agreed as "direct experience" within the students’ working experience in their own institution.
Furthermore, there will be the opportunity to complete the stage at NASPA and/or EucA, partners of the training program.
At the end of the course, students will submit and present their portfolios, showcasing the various project works developed for each module.

Tuition fee and scholarships: 

Cost: € 3.016,00 including the tax stamp of € 16,00 (The fee is refundable only in case of non-activation/non-admission to the Master. The tax stamp will not be refunded).
The payment is divided as follows:

  • First installment to be paid at the time of the enrollment: € 616,00 including the tax stamp of € 16,00. This installment is refundable exclusively in case of non-activation/non-admission to the Master. The tax stamp will not be refunded.
  • Second installment € 800,00 to be paid within 2 months from the activation of the Master.
  • Third installment € 800,00 to be paid within 3 months from the activation of the Master course
  • Fourth installment € 800,00 to be paid within 4 months from the activation of the Master.

The payment of the tuition fee in installments is merely a convenience granted to the student; therefore, any withdrawal does not exempt the student from paying the full amount.
The first installment, automatically generated during the online pre-registration process (the online registration procedure is published in the "How to Enroll" section), can be paid via PagoPA.
You can print a payment notice or make the payment directly online.

Subsequent installments can also be paid via PagoPA by accessing the student's personal area through the Mi@Lumsa portal (https://servizi.lumsa.it).

NB: Students can be admitted to the final exam only if the fees are all paid. Being in order with the payment of the fees is necessary to be admitted to the final exam.

Scholarship
